Bible Adventures

Today’s story is so cool for our kids to learn. It comes from John 3:1-21 where we meet Nicodemus who talks with Jesus. We can all talk with Jesus too!

Tag, You’re It! –

You may have heard that there are a lot of ways to play tag! Today is the day to play them all! LOL!  The leaders will determine which games to play ahead of time. Here are some games to Google if you are unfamiliar:

Freeze Tag

Marco Polo (Blindfold Needed)

Hide-n-Seek Tag

Groundies (Blindfold Needed)

Sharks and Minnows

Animal Tag

Cops and Robbers

Blob Tag (all tagged attach to tagger)

Zombie Tag (tagged freeze 15 seconds    then become a tagger)

Toilet Tag (tagged squats, then when touched makes a “whoosh” & is free)

Duck, Duck, Goose

Equipment: A blindfold (you can use a buff)

Get Crafty!

Emoji Bookmarks – We can talk to God when we are feeling happy, sad, frustrated, mad and even silly. We are making bookmarks and drawing the emotions you feel when you are praying to God. Cut out your bookmark and use the stickers to draw emotions. Add more decorations to make it your own style! Punch a hole at the top for your string or ribbon. This emoji bookmark can be placed in your Bible to be a reminder that you can talk to God anytime, no matter how you are feeling.

Items Needed – Paper, scissors, ribbon or string, yellow stickers for faces, markers, and a hole punch.

Prayer Corner

Prayer is talking WITH God, not simply asking God to help us. We will use our journals to share a “high” and a “low” about our day.
